About us

The Deaf Heritage Centre (DHC) was set up in 1999 by a group of past pupils from St Joseph’s School for Deaf Boys. Together now with past pupils from St Mary’s School for Deaf Girls and other Deaf schools we collate, maintain and protect artefacts, materials and records of the Deaf Community, tracing back 200 years.
