Several hundred deaf children received board, educational and vocational training in Claremont Institute until 1943.<br \/>\nIn Glasnevin Village is St.Mobhi&#8217;s Church where several deaf children including Claremont&#8217;s first pupil Thomas Collins, who wrote a letter to King George IV, lie buried in unmarked graves.
